Los reguladores frespt invitan a unirse a la liquidez compartida a otros países europeos

En un comunicado conjunto, han apostado por desarrollar la plataforma .frespt, partiendo de las buenas cifras y experiencias obtenidas en el primer año de existencia de la unificación de mercados.

La Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego ha publicado en su web un comunicado oficial sobre la aplicación del acuerdo relativo a la distribución de la liquidez del poker online.

En él, comentan que, cumplido un año de la puesta en marcha del primer entorno de poker basado en la unificación de mercados, “las autoridades reguladoras francesas, portuguesas y españolas expresan su satisfacción general por la evolución de este nuevo ecosistema online compartido”.

Afirman que desde la implementación del Acuerdo de Roma de 6 de julio de 2017, “participar en mesas o torneos con liquidez compartida en lugar de los nacionales ha sido la opción más destacada entre los jugadores de póquer de Francia, Portugal y España”. Y que, desde entonces, “el mercado de póquer online de Francia, Portugal y España ha mejorado su situación, presentando cifras positivas en cada uno de estos países”.

La DGOJ ha aprovechado el comunicado para anunciar que los tres reguladores se reunirán en la sesión sobre liquidez compartida que tendrá lugar en ICE, en Londres, el próximo 4 de febrero.

Además de las cifras positivas, la Dirección General está satisfecha por el hecho de que, según ella, “no ha habido incidentes significativos en la implementación del entorno de liquidez compartida en ninguna de las jurisdicciones involucradas”. Y cree que “es posible establecer un ecosistema de liquidez compartida entre jurisdicciones con un nivel de protección equivalente, con el resultado de mejorar la experiencia del consumidor sin comprometer su integridad”.

Partiendo de todos estos datos positivos, la DGOJ, la ARJEL y la SRIJ se han unido para expresar “su voluntad de cooperar con el resto de países de la Unión Europea o Área Económica Europea que puedan tener interés en firmar el Acuerdo en el futuro”.

Las palabras de los reguladores dejan entrever que van a apostar, al menos a medio plazo, por el desarrollo del mercado de la liquidez compartida, invitando a otros países a unirse a la iniciativa. Por tanto, el sueño de la evolución a una plataforma abierta, siguiendo el modelo británico, se aleja cada vez más.
